Is it true that applying some foundation on your lids before you apply eyeshadow makes the color last longer?

some people say foundation, concealer etc

if you apply a bit on your eyelids

your eyeshadow color lasts longer

is this true?

has anybody ever tried this?Is it true that applying some foundation on your lids before you apply eyeshadow makes the color last longer?
Yes, that is true.Is it true that applying some foundation on your lids before you apply eyeshadow makes the color last longer?
A dab of liquid foundation on your lids will definitely make your shadow last longer. Foundation adheres to your skin better than eyeshadow because it is not as pigment rich. For best results, set the foundation on your lids with a bit of pressed powder. This will make blending much easier.

If you want to splurge, Urban Decay makes an award winning primer called ';Primer Potion'; which makes your shadow crease resistant. Another fun idea is to try colored primers. MAC makes primer in many shades to try. Have fun and experiment!!

love.
i haven't heard of that. but i have heard if you take a tiny drop of foundation...like really tiny.... %26amp;%26amp; put it on your lips it makes them softer, %26amp;%26amp; the color a little paler. but. don't do it.

i did it %26amp;%26amp; yeah. i was cute. but it dries yr lips out for like a day after. %26amp;%26amp; you have to use tons of chapstick.
Yes it works. It's like an eyeshadow base, it will make it last longer %26amp;%26amp; go on smoother.

I always do my eye make-up like that:) %26amp;%26amp; it stays on all day. From 6 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon
I do this, and it seems to work well. =)

I just have light foundation on a brush, and I sweep it across my lids.
yea i've tried it. it works beacuse it acts as a base/primer for the makeup.
