Does anyone know why when I apply eyeshadow it goes blotchy? ?

I had it done at MAC last week and it was perfect but I can't seem to do it as well myself!Does anyone know why when I apply eyeshadow it goes blotchy? ?
if you put a light powder conceler on first, then no moisture or oils will be on your eye lid and then it will be able to get applied a lot smootherDoes anyone know why when I apply eyeshadow it goes blotchy? ?
You may have oily or dry eyelids, which makes it hard for eyeshadow to stay on too long. Its good to apply a primer before you put on eyeshadow. primers make your eyelid smooth and give something for your eyeshadow to grab onto. This helps prevent creasing or blotchiness. Two good brands are Urban Decay Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance, although they are kind of expensive - $17

Companies have products called eye bases, which are neutral colors. They are cheaper than primers, and they have the same goal of preventing creasing, fading, etc. But personally i would recommend eye primers even though they are more expensive
use urban decay eye shadow primer potion

its really good.

you can buy this from debenhams and stuff
