Is it dangerous to apply eyeshadow on lower lash line?

i have seen videos of professionals saying that applying eyeshadow on ur lower lash line is a good trick to make it last longer than just normal eyeliner...

if i do it every day, do u think its dangerous? i mean eye shadow is powdery but i wet the brush.

because after 3 days my eyes stung so badly and i had a lot of that stuff u get in the corner of ur eye when u wake up...and i mean A LOT of that stuff. Is it dangerous to apply eyeshadow on lower lash line?
as long as your not putting it in the water line, you should be fine. you can also mix your eyeshadow with a medium (i know mac sells one) that turns you powder eyeshadow into more of a cream baseIs it dangerous to apply eyeshadow on lower lash line?
It's not dangerous provided you aren't allergic to the stuff your putting on. You're eyes are a sensitive area, be extra careful that you don't put any IN your eye, put it lower, rather than closer to, your eye. Use a fine brush and maybe if you're having trouble with flecks use a cream eyeshadow (metallic is very in right now). The reason your getting a lot of ';stuff'; in the corner of your eye is because you're not removing all of your make-up before you go to sleep (even if you think you are). Taking it all off when you get home from a night out should help alot.
It's bad if you wear it on the waterline. Same with wearing anything on the waterline. I've worn all sorts of shaodws and liners on my lower lash line and it doesn't affect the eye at all.

and did you ever consider that maybe it is the brand of makeup that caused the stinging?

And a tip to make eyeliner last longer on the lower lash line is to first apply an eye shadow base (such as Urban Decay's Primer POtion) and let that dry then apply liner. It will make it last all day long (I can say that for a fact. I've had my eye makeup on since 7 this morning, so it's been about 14 hours almost and it looks the same as when I applied it.)
Your lash line is under where your bottom lashes are, not on top on the flat surface (don't know what it's called). DON'T put powder on the flat surface -- that will sting. Only use eyeliner there.

Here's a picture of where your lash line is: http://intstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2鈥?/a> See how she's putting the makeup just under the lashes? Do it there.
Every time I used any shade of blue eye shadow on my lower lashes I would get an eye infection. For me, there must have been something in the dye. I don't seem to have a problem with brown eye shadow. You might experiment to see what color does and does not affect your eye. Good luck.
nope, make sure you use a primer on your eyes all around, make sure it doesnt get in the eye! trear duct or water line

then use the eyeshadow, make sure its close but not ON the water line.

once your done wash it off good :)
i don't think its dangerous, just make sure u wash ur makeup off before u go to bed. that way you won't get anything in your eyes
