How do I apply eyeshadow?

I have blue eyes, and dont want to use too much makeup, but i have some blueish eyeshadow colors, how do I apply it so it looks nice? How do I apply eyeshadow?
i would use a edged brush and apply dark blue in a thick line right above the eyelid. wear a nude lip shade to keep from looking like a clown. dont use too much eyeshadow or else you'll look ridiculous. brown eyeliner and or mascara would help to accentuate your ';midnight eyes';.How do I apply eyeshadow?
Around the eye area is normally a good start.
If you visit www.marykay.com/kaylexasmom and visit the tips and trend and the virtual makeover sections you can get some great ideas. You can also email me at kaylexasmom@marykay.com to request samples. Good luck and enjoy the site.
put the dark color over ur lid..

and the light color like a shimmery color.. on top

always :)
Go with brown eyeshadow. It will make your eyes pop. start with a medium brown and a small-ish brush. If you feel the area around your eyebrows, in contrast to the lid, you can tell where the bone begins. The color should NEVER be applied to this area. Like I said, start with a medium brown, from your lashes up until the bone (as previously mentioned) and you can blend a peach or beige over it to lighten it up if it is too dark and makes your eyes look small.
First of all blue eye shadow might be the wrong direction to go in , especially if you are looking to look kind of natural and not oo made up... You may want to go for a natural, champagne or very soft gold color to dab under you high light area ( in the highest area under you hopefully arched eye brows,, it is 2006) and in the corner of your eye closest to your nose. and that will add a dramatic look to your face without being overwhelmingly overdone...
If you want to wear it without looking like you are wearing too much, try a darker blue shade on the crease if your lid near the end of your eye. I use black shadow and black liner on those corners of my eyes and it always makes my baby blue eyes pop.
your beautiful without makeup
very carefully
Here's a thought... Black liquid eyeliner on the top lid with light blue brushed (with a powder brush) above it. Then a deep (light a hypercolored teal, turquoise, or ocean) blue under your eye applied with the edge of your eyeshadow brush (you know, the one that looks like a glorified q-tip).
use brown
Take the eye shadow and apply it on the eyes. That's all i can tell ya I'm a guy sorry =(
