Where are you supposed to apply the three shades of eyeshadow?

I know that there is a light, medium, and dark color of eyeshadow, but where and in which order do you apply them?Where are you supposed to apply the three shades of eyeshadow?
Light: Browbone. The area right under your eyebrow. This highlights the eye. It is mostly all the time a whiteish, shimmery color.

Medium: Color all over the lid. This is the main color and cover your lid and into your crease as well as you can.

Dark: Crease color. To give the eye depth. Your crease is hmm if you look at your eye in the mirror where there is a wrinkle in your eye, its in the middle of your lid, is where you thoroughly blend this shade. Haha its hard to explain. Go to youtube and type makeup tutorials or something and creases will be in them somewhere

The order can be a few different ways

I do Med. Dark. then Light

you can do

Medium, Light Dark

Light Medium Dark

Just Medium before Dark and Dark never goes first! :)Where are you supposed to apply the three shades of eyeshadow?
It depends what look you are going for!! some people like to put the dark colour on their eyelid and then gradually go lighter, while for a smokey eye some put the medium color all over the lid, and the darkest on the other v, with the lightest as a highlight on the brow bone and tear duct. there are so many looks you can do it just depends what you like! there is no set way to put it on your eye. I like putting the lightest on the inside half of my eye with the medium on the outside half and lining the bottom of my eye with the darkest color. !! :)
light= as the base, highlighter for brow bone

medium=eyelid

dark=outer V part / eye crease

make sure your 3 shades of eyeshadow colours youre applying together are from the same color family. such as reds, pinks, blues, purples, etc.

-blend well with eye makeup brushes (eg. tapered blending brush)
medium = lid

dark = crease

light = brownbone
