Oh by the way, I tried youtube but I don't understand still. How to apply eyeshadow?
hi marissa... well first of all i am a makeup artist so i麓ll be able to help you..

1掳- what is your skin tone? if you are white or pale or have cold skin color, your eyeshadow colors will look better if they麓re blue, greens, purples, beige, black, brown, platinum...

if you are warm colored, (black, taned) red, orange, brown, yellow, gold.

2掳- is your makeup for the day or for night? because that makes a HUDGE diference.

3掳- get yourself som eeyeshadow brushes.. I recomend you to go to walgreens or target if you are on a short budget and get yourslef a kit. if not, MAC.

Get an eyeshadow brush, desluminator brush, blending brush, and eyeliner brush.

4掳 (day) chose 3 colors that look good together.

5掳 visit my website how2girltutorials.weebly.com I might be very young, but i know what i麓m talking about when it comes to makeup.. so TRUST ME!!

6掳- i would be HONORED and GLAD to do a video just for you.. i麓ll label it ';HELP FOR MARISSA'; okay.. and you can mail me to how2girl@yahoo.com if you have ANY questions..

i love to help, and HOPEFULLY did!How to apply eyeshadow?
Alrighty, first of all, just because you have a quad doesn't mean that you use all of the colors at one time. Okay, lets say that you have four eyeshadows, one one medium pink color, one light brown, one white, and one off white/the color of your skintone. You would want to put your medium pink all over your lid (your lid is from your top eyelashes, to where the little crease is that you see when you have your eyes open.) Then you would put your light brown in your crease (again, the line you see when you look at your self with your eyes open) make sure that you take your finger (or brush) and blend your lid color (pink) and crease color together (this means to blend it out so that it looks more natural) Next put your skintone color from your eyebrow to where your crease color stops. Then put a little bit of white in the corner of you eye.

I know this is really hard to undersatnd from just reading this, so if you have a youtube account, send me a message (link to my channel at bottom) on youtube and I will make you a video on how to do it. I don't have a lot of videos on this channel but that's because my old one got deleted by accident.

Now for brushes, I know that these are Mac, and you probably can't afford them, and just plainly don't want them, but you could find ones like it at your local drugstore or Sephora. Again, these are just examples.

For you lid brush: http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

For crease brush: http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

For blending brush: http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

For eye corner http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

These come in all differenet sizes. Also, you could go into your local JCPennys and they will tell you what to do, what brushes to use, and what colors suit your skin.

Hope I helped!
Here are some websites that talk about it

Check out Bobbi Brown. She does a good job explaining.

ok well a light color should go closest to your eye, then next put the darker color on and a little above your eye lid and then put like a sheer color right under your eyebrow and in the corners of your eye. then eyeliner and mascara :) thats what i do
