How do i apply black eyeshadow..without it looking overdone?!?

I love to wear black eyeshadow! But when applying i mess up big time and it ends up all smudgy or uneven sometimes!

i wear black eyeshadow all the time. i wear it like a ';smokey eye';. i only put the black eyeshadow on the side of my eye lids and i just blend it in. i usually would 1st put a shadow all over my eyelid that is close to my skin color or something like that. then thats when i put the black eyeshadow on the outer sides of my eyelid and i then blend the black shadow. i also always wear liquid eyeliner so i then after that put black liquid eyeliner on and then i put on mascara. hope i helped.How do i apply black eyeshadow..without it looking overdone?!?
Try applying a shimmery pearlescent gold or ivory all over you lids. Then, apply the black eyeshadow with a brush onto your lid. Use a smudge brush to bring it to your crease. Keep it sweet and smoky.

put a little darker on eye lid and then lighter up the eye the tip of ur brow line put a little white but be carful how dark u do black or u will look like a mess
