How do you apply more than one shade of eyeshadow?

I've tried doing it, but it just all eventually comes out to look like the same color and do you have any suggestions for eyeshadow colors for my blue eyes light skin and dirty blonde/golden hair? How do you apply more than one shade of eyeshadow?
For blue eyes, toupe browns are best.

I have the same color eyes %26amp; skin but I use sunless tanners

every few days for a change. If you want two shades, depending on what type of look you want.

Dramatic %26amp; mysterious: use a black liquid liner just above your eyelashes extending beyond wher you natural eyelashes end %26amp; curve up slightly (to bend like an eyelash) then use a black pencil liner just above %26amp; touching that line. (make sure the pencil line is as thin as possible until you get used to it. Apply a darker Toupe brown with a light golden shimmer just above %26amp; barly touching the pencil liner. in the crease use a matte toupe brown %26amp; blend it up to about centimeter from you eyebrows. (Use a shimmery flesh tone, one or two hue's, lighter than your skin color for that area) Fill in the inside line (between your eyeball %26amp; you bottom eyelashes) with a black pencil liner (top %26amp; bottom) %26amp; line underneith your eye with the black pencil as well. Just below that (as thin as possible) fallow the pencil liner with the shimmery toupe. Use Black mascara.

If you dont want a dramatic look, use a lighter shimmery toup just above you eyeliner (of chouce) %26amp; a medium deep matte toupe for the creace blending up to a centimeter above your brow %26amp; again a shimmery flesh tone a hue or two lighter than your skin tone.

(Use an earthy rose color for cheeks %26amp; lips)

Other fun colors to play with are:

shimmery rasins %26amp; Matte plumb toupes

(Use a very cool blush with hues of pale mauve %26amp; matching lipstick)

I also like to use

Shades of shimmery sage %26amp; a matte emerald

Fallow the pattern from above with the shimmers %26amp; Matte's

Use a nutral pink or coral blush %26amp; lipstick to matchHow do you apply more than one shade of eyeshadow?
just use one color on ur bottom lid and then another color that is close to ur first color on the verrrry top!. or just mixthem together..
You put one color on at a time. Then sweep the one into the other. Go to the Mac store or any department store that sells makeup and ask somebody.
you have nice light skin my tip for u is apply nice warm colors nothing dark or u will look bad and fr the different eyeshadows... i wouldn t suggest it i mean u will look like a bird with too much colors on your face makeup is better suttle
Hi what you should do is that go to sephora ..get this brand named BOURJOIS..that's like 3 shades ..first you apply the light color in your eye lid. and brow bone.then apply the middle shade to the eye lid, then blend the darkest shade close to the upper lashes ...your color would be naked lunch,beige,brown..just go to that place and look for that brand named and you will see those different types of shades
For a polished look, use two colour-coordinated shadows in light and dark shades. Apply the light shade under the eyebrow, on the upper mobile lid, and on the lower lid in the inside corner of the eye. Concentrate darker eyeshadow on the outer corner of the eye, along the lashes, and in the crease.

To bring out your blue eyes, use shades of blue. Either purchase Almay's Intense I-Color for blue eyes, or assemble light blue, darker blue, and brown shadows on your own. Add a brown topaz eyeliner and your beautiful blues will pop!

Works everytime.
You put the darker color on the lid and the lighter color near the brow. If you see that it comes out looking the same color, then put like a neutral tone on the brow and a color one on the lid.

A great color for you would be a light icy purple such as Mauvism by MAC paints. For the brow bone put an almost neutral color such as Shroom by MAC powder eye shadow.

That's what I use anyway, and they stay all day!!!
on the very tip of your eye lid towaqrds your eyelashes add whatever color you want and then on top of that apply another color thats what i do and it looks really hot not to mention (sexy)
I deal with alot of makeup cause i am a pt makeup artist.

First is the eye shadow. which u have 2 options, they are?

1. Intensify your eye color

Coordinated shadows, soft pencil eye liner and lengthening mascara. Blue shades enhance your eye color鈥攂rowns make it pop for a get-noticed, intensified blue!

-Shadows for intensity

-Eyeliner for definition

-Lengthening mascara

2. Your boldest look ever

Play up your blue eyes with expertly coordinated shadows, liquid liner eye and volumizing mascara. Coffee shades enhance your eye color鈥?denims make it pop for your boldest blue yet!

-Shadows for high impact

-Liquid liner for drama

-Volumizing mascara

Then you can help with the pencil eye liner or go for the liquid eye liner(takes practice) to make your eyes go for the grown up look. Try using the mascara to lengthen or make them thicker foe the full look.

Then you can just go from there, if u dont want to put alot of make up on just do the eyes and the lips( gloss, lip stick..or what u feel comfortable in) but always have some time of lip gloss. cant lips go dry.

Blending is key. Make sure you are using a shadow brush. Don't even think about using the spongy applicator that sometimes comes with the eye shadow. You can sweep a light colour over your eye then put a darker shade close to your eye lashes. Then you can put a shimmery colour on your brow bone or just a touch in the corner of your eye to make you eyes look more awake. Just experiment. The worst thing that can happen is that you wash it off and try it again.
