How to apply red & black eyeshadow?

Can someone give me some tips on how to apply red and black eyeshadow? Its for a costume.... I have been playing around with different ways of applying but it always looks weird, can someone maybe tell me where to find a picture or something of what might look good?How to apply red %26amp; black eyeshadow?
Try putting the black on your eyeliner. Use black eyeliner. Kind of make it looks smudged with the shadow, making the eyeliner appear thicker. Apply the red to the rest of your lid, crease, and the corners. Blend the line where they meet and at the crease.How to apply red %26amp; black eyeshadow?
Try just black eyeshadow with red eyeliner and a little red in the corners of the eye that blend into the eyeshadow. Sorry I don't have a picture...
Red and black eyeshadow would be considered weird I think by most people. Why not take a clue from your own experimentation and modify the colors until it does not look so weird?
